LineupLab — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
LineupLab: Football Lineup ("the app") is a football lineup builder for Android. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: your work is stored on your device; you control exports, sharing and Android backups.
Information the app handles
- Lineups you create: team names, player names, shirt numbers and positions, formations, kit colors, tactics drawings and the match details you type in (competition, opponent, date, venue and coach).
- App settings: theme, default kits, pitch style and similar preferences.
The app does not require an account, your email address, contacts, location or photos. You may choose to enter player names and match details; these are stored locally and are not sent to the developer.
What we do NOT do
- We do not receive, sell or use your personal data for advertising or analytics. User-selected exports, sharing and Android backup are described below.
- The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no crash-reporting SDKs.
- The app does not request the internet permission and does not upload your lineups to a developer server. Optional Google Play reviews, exports, sharing and Android backup are described below.
- The app requests no runtime permissions (no camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage access).
Where your data lives
- Lineups and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
- If you have Android's backup turned on, your lineups and settings may be included in your device backup and moved to a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, not by us, and we cannot see it.
- When you use Share or Save to gallery on the export screen, the app creates a picture of your lineup and hands it to the destination you choose (another app, or the Pictures/LineupLab folder on your device). What happens to it after that is controlled by you and that destination.
Ratings
- Once in a while (at most every 60 days, and only after you have saved or shared a few lineup pictures), the app may ask the Google Play Store app on your device to show its standard rating window. Showing it, and anything you rate or write there, is handled by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. LineupLab's code does not receive your rating, review text or submission status. To decide when to ask, the app counts on your device how many pictures you exported and when it last asked; these counters never leave your device (except in your own device backup, like your settings).
- Rate LineupLab and Share LineupLab in Settings only open Google Play or Android's share sheet; nothing is sent unless you choose to.
Google Play reviews and deletion
If you choose to submit a star rating or review, Google Play processes it under Google's terms and privacy policy. A submitted review may be public, or shared privately with Ninko as feedback during a closed test. Public Play reviews are associated with your Google Account and may show your public profile information. The app's code does not receive your rating, review text or submission status. Google states that this review data is encrypted.
Google provides review-deletion controls in the Play Store or your Google Account. For a posted review, open this app's detail page in the Play Store, find your review, and choose More > Delete. Instructions: Google Play review deletion instructions. Clearing this app's storage or uninstalling it does not delete your Play review.
Deleting your data
Delete a lineup in the app to remove it from your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes everything the app stored. Pictures you saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not send your locally created work to the developer.
Retention and security
App data remains in Android's private app storage until you delete it or clear the app's storage. Android controls device security and system backups. Exported files, copies you share and system backups may remain after uninstalling; manage or delete them in the destination app or device backup settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
